Air Duct Sealing

DST coating and lining has other advantages over traditional air duct repair, as well. It can cost thousands of dollars less than other solutions meant to fix corroded or moldy ducts. In addition, DST coating and lining can actually prove more durable than other solutions to duct problems, as the unique liner can actually thwart rust, allergens, and mold. DST sealing solutions can help promote healthy air quality in the home. Unlike air duct overhead conversions, DST does not require homeowners to surrender attic space for bulky duct work. In fact, DST liners take up no extra room at all.

The process for DST duct lining and coating is also refreshingly customer-friendly. DST professionals begin by inspecting the ducts via video to assess the extent of damage and to find a personalized solution for the customer. Once a plan for lining and coating is in place, in most cases the ducts are thoroughly cleaned to remove existing mold and to create a clean surface which allows the liner to adhere. The liner is then applied to the affected ducts in a single coat. The coating and lining process can usually be completed in three or four hours.
